Hey, Hey ho, ho, hoes (pun intended)
It's Xmas Eve! This Christmas is gonna be especially special for me, sadly, I can't go into it...I will have pictures, though....Lotsa surprises!
Anyway, I've been on the fact that Connecticut played a part in the origins of Hip Hop.I'm gonna go on to prove this as time goes on.To begin, I found this video of the Skinny Boys( Look to the right...then click)! They were one of, if not the, biggest name in CT's history of Hip Hop. Don't get me wrong. I remember when TC Islam sounded like Spoonie G, DJ White Flash at any and all clubs in CT, Three the Hardway ( a somewhat combo of members from Skinny Boys and White Flash, who MC Serch called out in the notes of 3rd Bass's first album), Lonnie O, Big Daddy Kane and Little Daddy Shane sightings, Heavy D sightings, Flavor Flav in Bridgeport for a summer,DJ Chance and J-Roc rocking The Legion,Yes Yes Y'all,Sons of Funk, The Lost Boys, Connecticut Cartel(who ended up being the second biggest, in my opinion) my own crew of multiple crews-The Undadog Family( UdF: Can't Truss, Infinite Dialects, Deadly Venoms, Blu Soul, Reservoir Dogs, Cash Dollar Clik, Fatal Strike, Vagyo ) and this is just what I know of in the Bridgeport to New Haven area! What do you remember? Let me know(yeah, J)...
Here's to you my readers, Merry Christmas...YoHooo
