I tweaked the Facebook Ad for AHAWR. After running an ad that was widely targeted, I took the metrics from a week of doing that and changed the audience.

I'm now targeting Men and Women aged 18 - 44 years old, living within a 50 mile radius of my hometown. I also went after Parents, lovers of pop culture, food & dining, ALL mobile users( with iPads and various tablets hitting the market, this is important),and a few other variables.

Let's see what happens..

Went whale watching with the Missus for Mother's Day.Whale watching!I can scratch that off my "bucket list", now.I've been wanting to do that for more than 10 years, now.My wife invited me as a gift to her.It was GREAT!

Before we went we stopped off at the Kobey's Swap Meet in San Diego.We're walking around killing time before our adventure and who do we see at there-selling stuff nonetheless - David Hester from Storage Wars!

Also got to take a very good nap with her, as well as reflect on my life and where I wanna go...

Didn't see any whales.Still had a great day with the Missus.

I also did ( which I didn't realize how long I've been doing it) my 3rd Annual Facebook Mother's Day Shout outs.

That went over well.the list keeps getting bigger.I gotta do something big for Menn's Month (my self-proclaimed holiday that encompasses Father's Day and a month devoted to all things MEN,thank you).

Brick07062012: Being on Brand X with Russell Brand

So, the wife got tickets to a taping of the show Brand X. It aired July 5^th.

Damn, that was fun.

I’ve seen Russell Brand on an award show, the movie GetHim to the Greek (Jonah Hill, Puffy aka Diddy, to name a few) and the remake of Arthur. He’s a really funny guy. I LOVE comedy. I had a childhood (Air Force brat) in England, so I was able to “get” his style of humor as well as his accent. My Mom watched BBC and british TV shows while I grew. In fact, she still tunes into BBC shows and has a collection of Benny Hill VHS tapes….yep!

Anyway, while at the show he spoke on Sex Education in schools. For some reason, he chose to direct a question at me. I gave him a REAL answer - he loved it. Apparently, so did the editors of the show. I became a mini-celebrity on the set.

Overall, the experience was F*cking GREAT!! I might go back on the show to see if he remembers me...I know I'm milking my "15 minutes of fame"...wouldn't you? I mean..it was a BIG DEAL
