Brick08172012:A Mann Pleases His Women

The Mann
Yep! You read right! I have women to please - my wife and my daughter. Now, to be honest I have two daughters (truthfully, they are my stepdaughters, but ONLY by LAW) out in Connecticut and there’s not much I do to please them. They have their own lives. I tell them I love them and check on them. That’s it. The oldest one likes to talk to me about life and seeks advice and the second oldest I have to pry words out of her, but they DO like to hear from me. I know that.

Here in California it’s a different thing.

I have a high school graduate who I think is scared of what life is going to bring her. She’s reluctant to really “get her grown woman on”. She looks at me as “daddy” when she wants to and the “enemy” when I’m not coddling her. She really doesn’t open up to me too much. I chalk that up to her being a teen, though.

Next, I have a wife who loves to be pampered. She likes to experiment with new things. She likes adventure. She loves being a grown woman. We’ve gotten into many a disagreement because she doesn’t understand me like she would like to, but that’s another story…in fact go here and see foryourself.

Anyway, all that to the side, my wife’s birthday was August 19th (she turned 40), so she’s celebrating all kinds of ways; volunteering, spa treatments, a dinner cruise...Just different ways. You go, girl! As I write this, she’s having a full day of Spa at some exclusive joint with a friend of hers. I figured let’s have a night of fun, plus the dinner cruise coming up. I chose a spot out here called Boomers. Boomers is a place that has video games, many games that allow you to gain tickets to trade in for prizes, Lazer Tag, bumper boats, Go Karts, a batting cage and two miniature golf courses.

The video shows this, but I couldn’t get too much footage. The Bumper Boats would have the camera getting wet because they shoot water. The Go Karts are way too fun to have a camera operating. As you’ll see I tried to film Lazer Tag, but I started getting shot at walking into the arena!

The place is like Chuck E. Cheese with MORE of a family atmosphere instead of kiddy Rides and characters.

I felt good being able to sponsor this event because I’m so caught up in trying to get money to get more money that I leave these plans up to my wife. If you went to the link above and read the update, you’d see that. I love my ladies, but sometimes I put them on the backburner so that I can’t get things I want done. Is that bad? Sometimes, it can be. It’s for a good cause, though; my family.

Being a man requires sacrificing good times with the family, but at the same time, when you DO have fun after the sacrifices, it leaves a lasting impression/memory!

I please my women!

Brick07082012: I AM NOT A MAN

I learned I'm NOT a man today.

I learned a lot today! How am I NOT a man, you ask? Well:

  1. I don't clean up around the house
  2. I don't make enough money to completely provide for my family. (I mean, I only pay MY part of the bills)
  3. My daughter emulates my BAD habits
  4. My bad habits are, mainly, based around #1
  5. I don't listen to my wife
  6. My hobby of starting a business is NOT making money now, which puts me back at #2
See, when I do the video version of this blog, my main topics are based around being a MAN. I talk of the traditional man (yesterday's man) versus the man of today. I address what I think is the definition of  MAN. I'm a hypocrite, folks. I apologize, readers / viewers. I also realize that when I'm reminded of the six things listed above, I ACT LIKE A BITCH.  Not good. I apologize, readers / viewers.

I will say it's hard being a "man" being married with daughters! They don't / won't understand what being a man entails. They could care less , really, what  it does entail. They don't want to understand what it entails. They just want security. They hate risks.

Risks where taken so that securities exist !!!

Actually, most women are like this. They want a part-time traditional man.

They want someone who will pay all the bills. They want someone who spearheads all the family activities. They want someone who will take their problems and put them on YOUR back (whether you created them or not). They want a bodyguard, daddy, accountant, butler, banker. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not all of those, so, this puts me in an arena constantly having my "manhood" challenged. The early objective of my video blog was to address this and expect comments. I wanted my own soundboard for other Fathers, Daddies (there is a difference, I learned) and Step-daddies. They come every now and then. I think I need them to come a lil' more, though. I'm getting confused.

As I type this I'm listening to 50 Cent. A song was JUST playing and the chorus went, " Shut up, bitch". I can't be, rather , I don't want to be that kind of guy. He's not that kind of guy. He takes care of his baby mama. To hear / read him tell it..she takes advantage of it every chance she gets. I hate the Battle of the Sexes. it's just some bullshit for people to exploit.

As I get older, though, I will say I DO have a different perspective of females. That's for a different post. Another time, maybe.

Feel free to comment on this. Tell me I'm wrong. Join my list.
